  • Amherst Town Library

    Role: Project Manager, Designer & Developer

    We launched a brand new Website for the Amherst Town Library in Amherst, NH, on September 27, 2013. The old site was difficult for staff to update, confusing to navigate, and  outdated. Our goal was to remedy all of these problems by designing a new site with revised architecture, built on the Drupal 7 CMS. In addition, the site is built using a responsive theme, making it mobile and tablet friendly. Mobile optimization is currently underway.

  • Lachman Architects & Planners, Portland, ME

    Lachman Architects & Planners

    Role: Project Manager, Designer & Developer

    Krafty Design & Development is currently engaged with Lachman Architects & Planners to redesign their Website using Drupal 7. Phase 1 has been completed with the relaunch of the site. Phase 2, making the site responsive and mobile friendly, is currently underway.

    Role: Developer

    This full redesign and rebuild of SisterToSister.org was launched in August of 2012. Built on Drupal 7, and fully responsive for mobile devices. I was primary front-end developer, working with a team of content experts, designer, back-end developer, another front-end developer, and techincal project manager.

    I was lead front-end developer on the redesign of Healthfinder.gov. We launched the site on December 26, 2012. The next phase of development will be to make it fully responsive for mobile devices such as phones and tablets.

    In the Spring of 2012, I had the opportunity to redesign and rebuild the Website for artist/activist Tom Block. It was my first freelance project in some time, and a welcome opportunity to shake the dust of my design skills. The goal of the new design was to really showcase Tom's art work, and to make it easier for him to add events and new projects to his own site. Built on Drupal 6.

    Role: Designer & Developer

    Built on WordPress 3.0. Small website built for a friend who recently partnered in the opening of a SCUBA shop in Washington, DC. I designed and developed the site, and served as the defacto project manager while working closely with the business owner.

I was the lead front-end developer / themer, creating CSS, sliced graphcs, HTML, and Drupal templates that married the design to the content of the site. I also contributed some jQuery, design input, and content editing. The site was launched in January 2012.

  • Karmella's Game

    I recently redesigned the Web site for the indie rock band Karmella’s Game. They needed a site that synced with their latest album, and they needed it to be easy to update. I designed the site in Adobe Photoshop and then implemented it in WordPress for its low cost, ease of use, and flexibility. Launched in August 2010.

    Role: Developer

    During my tenure as Web Designer at The Humane Society of the United States, one of my responsibilities was to act as design and branding liaison with the outside vendor during redesign of the Website. In addition, I was responsible for creating nearly all of the banner graphics for interior pages, including finding and editing appropriate photos. Launched in October 2009.

    A speciality landing page and contest entry form for the Humane Society Legislatgive Fund There Oughta Be a Law contest. I designed and developed the page, including implementing javascript form validation to fill a very specific need. Launched in August 2009.
